Bereavement, loss and major life change Counselling

Finding your way through grief

A daytime scene of a grassy hill with a large tree on the right, a tire swing hanging from the tree, and other trees in the background against a hill and bright sky.

The loss of a loved one, the break-up of a long-term relationship, a sudden health diagnosis, a work redundancy or a major life change can all start us on a process of grieving and loss.

Feelings of grief can ‘hit you’ at any time, depending on the complexity of the situation and if the loss has complex elements and associated trauma.  Grief can be a lonely and isolating experience and is often a deep personal journey going through many twists and turns.

How therapy can help

Focused bereavement counselling enables you to voice, to understand, and to embody the complex feelings you are experiencing.

When the time is right, you will find ways to embrace the changes that the loss has bought you.  Grief is often a path to deeper awareness and to creating a more essential life.

Begin your healing journey

Our sessions move gently, at a pace that feels right for you. You’ll be supported to explore what feels too heavy to carry alone - finding steadiness, meaning and connection as you move through your grief.

You don’t have to face this alone. A conversation can be the first step towards easing what feels too much right now.
