Individual Therapy and EMDR Psychotherapy
Reconnecting with yourself
Many people come to therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because life feels disconnected, flat, or harder than it needs to be. You may be carrying stress, unresolved experiences, or a sense that you’re not fully yourself.
Individual therapy provides a steady, supportive space to slow things down and talk honestly about what’s going on - without judgement or pressure. With time, this work can help you reconnect with yourself, make sense of past experiences, and feel more grounded in how you live and relate. Our work together will focus on what a meaningful and aligned life looks like for you, helping previously disowned or hidden parts of yourself become trusted allies in an authentically lived future.
My approach
I work through the lens of the body, paying attention to how your experiences are held physically as well as emotionally. Alongside this, we may explore the deeper personal, relational and transpersonal themes shaping your life.
At times, this inner knowing may feel at odds with where life has taken you so far, or with where you believe it should lead. Listening to this call can feel unsettling, particularly if it invites change. Therapy offers a steady, supportive space to build trust in yourself as you come to know all aspects of who you are — and who you are becoming.
What to expect
When trauma or significant life events have interrupted your ability to move forward, therapy can help restore a sense of choice and possibility. I am extensively trained and qualified in both EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (somatic psychotherapy), which can support the processing and integration of traumatic experiences.
This approach is particularly helpful for stuck grief, relationship betrayals, sudden diagnoses, health crises, accidents, and other overwhelming life events. Working at a pace that feels safe, we will help your nervous system settle and create space for healing and renewal.
